Thank you, Chef, for this gorgeous reminiscence and memories of such a happy time. Am I crazy, I can still tase the Apple Cider donuts they make up there, and of course the wonderful fresh vegetables – and of course, pumpkins! I live in Louisiana now but I miss the east coast. Of course, we have farmers’ markets here also, and I’ve come to truly love the local food and traditions. But my soul is in New York and New England.
